Access to Work

What is Access to Work?
Access to Work is a publicly funded employment support programme that aims to help more disabled people start or stay in work. It can provide practical and financial support if you have a disability or long term physical or mental health condition.

Who can be eligible for Access to Work (AtW)?
- Be over the age of 16
- Have a condition or impairment that affects your ability to do your job or travel to work
be in or about to start paid work (this includes self-employment)
- Lives and work in England, Scotland or Wales
Access to Work applies to any paid job. This includes part-time work and temporary work.​
Here at BSL Plus, we offer Access to Work services to both Deaf and Deafblind Service Users. We currently have a number of Service Users on our books who we provide Access to Work for in their work setting.
